Best vacation ever
Great experience and service. The parties at night are very nice and the shows are very interesting to watch. The Bravo team is the best entertainment team. And Eduardo is the star. Amazing experience hope to come back soon. Best hotel I’ve ever been at.

Hobie cat for decoration only!
So we are at the Palace side of this resort where there sits 3 hobie cats that are literally there for decoration because was just told they cannot go out because of the rocks close to shore will damage the Hobie and this will not change ever!! So don’t come here thinking that the calmer waters of the south side of this island will make it more advantageous to sail the Hobie cats because you will be disappointed! Just unbelievable they have not 1 or 2 but 3 Hobie cats just sitting on the sand 10 feet from the shore that are not allowed to be taken out. Sooo disappointed!!

Front desk stuff
My recent stay at the Viva Wyndham Beach Resort Dominican Republic, was highly disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of some of the staff members. At the front desk, Ana Mota's rude and arrogant attitude left a negative first impression. As the initial point of contact for guests, her behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the resort. Despite rarely writing negative reviews, I felt compelled to share this due to her blatant disregard for customer service. Her pride in her poor attitude was shocking and disheartening. Furthermore, the supervisor at the restaurant Terrace repeatedly ignored my son's questions about lunch( he just pretend that my son is invisable), despite his allergies. This kind of neglect and indifference is inexcusable, especially when it concerns a guest's health and well-being. However, it's important to acknowledge the positive aspects as well. The maids in the rooms were exceptionally amazing and should be recognized for the outstanding job they do. The coffee bar servers were also very nice and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the negative experiences overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. This was my first visit to the Dominican Republic, and it will likely be my last due to these unpleasant experiences. I hope the resort takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure that future guests receive the respect and assistance they deserve.

Brilliant hotel, defo recommend
2nd time visiting, first ever hotel to revisit. Beach side better for kids than palace, closer to better kids facilities and shows. Food decent, options in hotel good. Events and staff good. Only negative if anything was shows starting too late. Will go back again. Brilliant hotel- uk family.

Average
The resort is big and dispersive and definitely lacks the necessary services when full. The main restaurant cannot accomodate enough people and the food can finish very quickly. Thematic restaurants do not have enough room and you need to book them much in advance, also the quality of their food is poor. Rooms are simple but well furnished and the personnel is always kind and at disposal. The entertainment could be organized better and should definitely be more publicized. On the other hand, the location is privileged, the beach is quite nice and the close by Saona island is astonishing. I recommend this resort for a relaxing week, but do not set your expectations too high.
