4th best Hotel of Wailea area
It is 4th best hotel in Wailea area after experiencing them all over the past 3 years. The valet staff were not hurrying to open your door and take care of the car. It is very typical for customers to get out and hand over the keys to them and ask for a ticket. Rooms are very badly labeled; you can be on the 6th floor with room number 4620! Everyone I talked to had the same issue on their first day there. The service of the bell carts was on point, and the restaurants had good food. Breakfast is elementary for Marriott status holders. The hallways and interior need a facelift. I put Andaz first followed by four seasons then Waldorf Astoria then wailea beach resort by Marriott.

5 Stars All Around!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My family just got back from a vacation at the Wailea Beach Resort and this place is the best! One of my kids broke his foot days prior to our trip and we were unsure how the trip would go. While checking in we were helped by Aki at check in. She was extremely welcoming and kind and took the time to help us navigate the large beautiful resort and introduced us to others that could help during our trip as my son was on crutches. This was above and beyond and we greatly appreciated her help and this paved for the way for an amazing trip! The Wailea Beach Resort is lucky to have Aki as an amazing employee! From the location, the rooms, the pool and grounds are all top notch! This was our first stay here but definitely will not be our last!

Absolutely Magical Stay – Perfect for Families!
Our family just returned from a four-night stay at the Marriott Wailea Beach Resort, and I cannot recommend it enough! We were celebrating our child’s 10th birthday, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make it truly special. We were thrilled to be welcomed with POG juice, but the real magic happened when we opened the door to our room—an incredible ocean-view room with a private lounging deck! We spent hours out there, watching the sun rise and set, soaking in the breathtaking views. Everywhere we went, the staff was warm, engaging, and kind. Our kids looked forward to visiting the front desk each day for the “chocolate of the day” samples, and we all had a blast racing each other on the resort’s amazing water slides. In the evenings, the kids played frisbee on the lush lawn while we took in the sunset—pure perfection. My son also loved redeeming his drink coupons for virgin piña coladas, which made him feel so special (and now, they’re officially hooked!). We also had so many unforgettable experiences—spotting whales from the shore, exploring tide pools where we saw a baby turtle, walking the boardwalk in the mornings, and enjoying delicious smoothies and banana bread at Whale’s Tail. Our lives are often chaotic, but this resort gave us the perfect space to disconnect from our devices and reconnect as a family. The stunning location, top-notch amenities, and exceptional service made it a trip we’ll cherish forever. A huge thank you to the incredible team at Marriott Wailea Beach Resort for making our stay so magical. If you’re looking for a family-friendly, luxurious, and unforgettable getaway in Maui, this is the place to be! 🌺🌊

This property is not for old people.
The welcome given guests is wonderful. The location is perfect. We got the garden Lanai room. It was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately things went down from there. The property is not handicapped friendly. Being old we found it very difficult to get around with all of the steps at the property. Elevators were hard to find. The BIG disappointment was that when we went to use the "private" outdoor shower and tub we realized everyone on the floors above could see us. The reason for this is the curtains surrounding the outdoor tub area were too short by at least an inch. The two curtain sides do not meet in the middle. You could see right into the tub. I so wanted to try bathing in a garden. But I was not going to expose the children in the room upstairs to seeing a naked old lady. The one thing I had looked forward to was ruined. Using the indoor shower was almost as bad. When turned on it sprayed out onto the bathroom floor, leaving it very slippery. I mentioned I am old. I was so afraid of falling on the slippery tile I didn't want to use that shower either. This property is not worth the money.

OUTRAGEOUS: FRAUDULENT CHARGES AND NO RESPONSE - BEWARE OF THIS RESORT!
I stayed in room 7325 at the Wailea Beach Resort Marriott Maui from February 22-28, 2025 as a company reward. My experience was completely ruined by unacceptable administrative management and what I can only define as fraudulent behavior. Already at checkout, just hours before our flight, we found ourselves having to dispute several charges for services we never used! After obtaining the removal of these improper charges, we received a zero balance invoice and paid what was due. But the real scandal began afterward: in the days following our departure, we discovered with indignation additional duplicate charges on our credit card, without any authorization! What infuriates me is that despite countless attempts to contact the hotel and Marriott customer service over the past 5 days, we have been totally ignored! No response, no explanation, no respect for customers! We were forced to file a dispute with our bank. It's shameful that a brand like Marriott allows this predatory behavior toward their customers. Warning to travelers: stay away from this resort or you risk finding unauthorized charges and being completely abandoned if you seek assistance! I have never received such contemptible treatment from a luxury hotel. Unworthy of the Marriott brand and unacceptable at any level of service!
