Food poisoning
Got food poisoning from hotel restaurant. Severe vomiting for everyone who ate chicken wings. Had to cancel the rest of our activities for vacation. Rooms smell like mold/mildew. Sheets were wet. Very gross, do not recommend. The housekeeping staff were very nice and helpful though.

Travel Agent recommended!
This resort is a very family-friendly resort that has made efforts to improve and upgrade. Although renovations are still currently underway, this did not impact our experience in a negative way at all. Pool facilities were wonderful. Food and beverage were very good! Staff is very friendly and accomodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this resort!

Second time - will go back again
Stayed here specifically for relaxation. We don’t golf or play tennis. I ran twice out the back of the property to Playa Las Picuas. Running up that road made me want to retire there. We really like the property and location. The beach is our favorite. The chair guys are always helpful. The property is maintained well and very clean. We stayed there two years prior in the old rooms. I didn’t mind them. The new rooms are fine. The showers are well done. Housekeeping could use a bit more oversight. Things weren’t perfect but nothing to complain about. In fact, the staff specifically were all extremely professional and friendly My wife took the stretch class twice. She was looking for yoga. My wife loved the class. It’s not full yoga, but you’re on vacation. The instructor was a yoga instructor. My wife also took a 75 minute massage. She said it was better than her last spa massage in Portugal. We ate at Roots a lot. Iguanas was really good. Just know you’re expecting a big steak or dish. Portions are generous. Prices are expensive but it’s a hotel, it’s typical. Being there for six days, you can’t eat on site every day. We explored the kiosks, Luquillo Beach, and Fajardo. We also bought some fruit and snacks at the supermarket a few miles away. We will definitely stay at the Wyndham again next time we travel to Puerto Rico
- AdvisoryThe transformation of resort is going in 2 phases where the project includes rebuilding 400 guestrooms, ten dining outlets, a new lobby, pools, social spaces, and entertainment areas.
