The rooms are excellent but the size of the hotel may have led to our overall experience. Lack of variety at the buffet in the evening and at times leftovers. Beach area is small but plenty of space. Beach seaweed was not cleaned everyday.

Jan 21, 2025Wonderful beach vacation at Zel Melia in Punta Cana.
Zel Melia is a wonderful hotel with large, spacious rooms and beautiful grounds and beach. I was assigned a personal concierge ,Yohandy de La Cruz who helped us in every way throughout our visit and even took us on an excursion to Macao Beach on his day off. The personnel working at the hotel are extremely friendly from the servers in the various dining areas to those cleaning the rooms. There is a choice of four different restaurants(Japanese, Steakhouse, Tacorino and Buffet) . This all comes at a very reasonable all-inclusive price for lodging, food and drinks.

Amazing experience!!! This is the first resort we actually would love to come back!!! Beautiful grounds!!!
We spent seven days in paradise! The rooms were clean and beautiful, and the food was to die for, especially raspberry and chocolate croissants! The service was outstanding! Thanks to Miguel, Junior, Randor, and others, we felt welcome and didn't want to leave. We will definitely come back! Well done!!!

New gem in the Caribbean
This hotel feels very familiar and cozy. Great service. Excellent rooms. Nice food specially Tacorini. Loved the team Enrique, Yojernny, Luis and Leídi. And the welcome for the reception teams was amazing, just wow! Junior and the rest of the team were amazing. Would totally recommend and come back soon.

Jan 15, 2025Terrified of staying since customer service is not-existent before my stay
I have not gone yet but I am having a terrible time with customer service before our trip has even started. I emailed the hotel about having trouble setting up transport to hotel. They never responded. I called the hotel three times and the call hangs up immediately after they answer. I called the home office and received no help. They gave me an email address to send my concerns to and it did not work. What is this place going to be like when I am staying there. I am terrified.
