A limpiar

Our incredible honeymoon (3 years overdue)
Our stay at Bahia Principe Punta Cana from March 24-30, 2025, was nothing short of fantastic. This was our three-year delayed honeymoon, and while none of the staff knew that, they didn’t need to as the level of hospitality made it special on its own. [Check-In & Front Desk – A Perfect Start] We arrived late in the evening with other Air Transat guests, and despite the crowd, check-in was seamlessly organized. Victor at the front desk was phenomenal: warm, attentive, and thorough, ensuring we understood everything about the hotel. Even with a long line behind us, he made us feel unrushed. We were upgraded to a quiet, renovated room, and the next day, despite us figuring out dinner reservations via the app, Victor remembered and called us at 3 PM to check in! That level of attentiveness was impressive. [Housekeeping: Thoughtful & Kind] We had three housekeepers, with one in particular standing out (our first housekeeper). She was detailed, kind, and ensured our mini-bar was stocked with non-alcoholic options after noting our preference. While we didn’t get her name, her warmth and service left a lasting impression. [Dining – Standout Experiences] We had à la carte dinners at several restaurants: 1) Brazilian Steakhouse – Fun and engaging service, but the food was a bit dry. 2) El Olivo (Aquamarine) – Fantastic experience, personalized service, and a friendly team. 3) Tequila (Mexican Restaurant) – Our final dinner and an unforgettable highlight. Our server Saiter made the experience engaging, and Ibania and Yerelin were incredibly warm and attentive, overcoming any language barrier with their genuine hospitality. The restaurant even surprised us with a house special on the house for our last night, a truly touching gesture. 4) The lady at the pineapple/coconut stall – We kept passing by her and finally stopped on our second-last full day to get coconuts. She recognized us immediately, and on our last day, we went back for pineapple. Her bright smile and hardworking yet joyful presence truly stood out! We had breakfast and lunch at both buffets, with Orquidea (Lobby 1) being a favorite. The grill station staff recognized my husband and built a friendly rapport. The service was consistently excellent, with one server quickly resetting our drinks when our table was unexpectedly cleared. On our last day, a supervisor at Orquidea stood out with a great conversation that made our final meal even more memorable. [Departure – A Thoughtful Farewell] On the morning of our departure, a young gentleman at front desk extended our checkout to 3 PM and was equally fantastic at checkout. His warmth and professionalism reminded me of my time in the luxury hospitality industry, and I can see both him and Victor excelling in this field. [Local Vendors] One area I hope the property improves on is managing interactions between guests and local vendors. While we appreciate the effort to support local businesses, some sellers can be quite aggressive. For example, on the beach, a vendor placed an iguana on a guest and then demanded $30. On nights when local vendors were allowed to sell products, some used high-pressure sales tactics. We absolutely want to support them, but a better balance is needed to ensure guests feel comfortable. We quickly learned to avoid bringing anything that resembled a wallet to the beach and to stick to the blue chairs designated for Bahia Principe guests. [Final Thoughts] This was our first all-inclusive experience, and my husband already decided that we’ll be sticking with the Bahia Principe brand for future travels (whether in Mexico, Jamaica, or Spain... or maybe returning to Punta Cana!). The resort, food, and amenities were wonderful, but it was the people who made this stay truly unforgettable. Thank you, Bahia Principe Punta Cana, for an amazing experience! We'll be back!

Excellent experience for families
We went to the Fabtasia, for the children it is an excellent plan, I recommend taking out the rooms that overlook the castle, they are a dream. While there are parts of the hotel that lack maintenance it does not make a difference as it is too big and there are many beautiful places. The food of the restaurants is not the best but you will eat well, the boys do not have many options but if you eat varied is good. The service is excellent, leave tip for more than anything since the salaries are very low and they live only from tourism. Excellent hotel 9/10

Love this resort.
Awesome resort. Very beautiful and well kept. Very friendly staff, especially pool bar staff. Food and restaurants were very good. Rooms very roomy. Can't beat the price. Shows were great. Bring mosquito spray cause they are out at nite. Don't buy it there cause it is $30.

Overall Good!
We just got back from a week at the Grand Bahia Punta Cana (March 21-March 28). We went with a group of 14 (including our daughter aged 7 and 3 other children aged 5, 6 and 8). Check in was great, very friendly and quick. We did ask for a renovated room which they initially tried to upsell but we asked if we could have one without an added cost and they did. Lobby - very hot with no fans/breeze and FULL of mosquitoes. Yes the other reviews were correct. You don't feel them bite, but the next day you are covered in welts. We used mosquitoe repellent and it didnt help. I don't know why they don't spray/fog. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Lots of room to put suitcases etc. Bathroom only had a shower (which was fine). Beds only had sheets, it would have been nice to have a top blanket. Room AC worked great and shower was hot! Main pool and beach were beautiful but hard to find chairs. Middle pools were not busy, they were pretty empty and amazing staff at the swim up bars there. They do need more visible bathrooms in the middle close to the pools. Staff were wonderful! Very helpful and happy. Food was good, we always found something to eat. The A LA Carte Restaurants very very good. Main buffet in lobby....had an awful smell. The Food Truck and buffet at the beach were very good. Cockroaches....yes, we did see some on the paths at night. Very large ones. But the renovated sections we didn't see any. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend:)
- AdvisoryThe Dominican Republic imposes various restrictions each year for Easter. They usually begin the Thursday prior to Good Friday and run a few days past Easter Sunday. The following regulations may be enforced: -Motorized water sports may be banned -Non-motorized water sports may be limited or banned -Alcohol consumption may be restricted (most resorts get a permit enabling them to serve alcohol to nonnative people during the ban) -Music may be limited or silenced
- AdvisoryThe hotel will renovate 288 rooms with modern designs and high-quality furnishings, enhancing guest comfort. Construction (April 21–Nov 30, 2025) will relocate guests to villas to avoid disruption. Upgrades include pools, restaurants (buffet, Japanese, Grill), lobby, bar, theater, and gym. Affected services will temporarily shift: pools remain open, reception moves to Bouganville, and dining/theater/gym access is redirected. New areas debut Dec 1, with fencing to reduce visual impact.
